Dahn Trip August 2020

Years 7 and 8 went on a wonderful trip to beautiful Dahn. With lots of walking, rock climbing and team building it has set the perfect tone for a great year.

Year 7 and 8 students were given the opportunity to spend a week in Dahn as part of their induction to the academic year 2020/21.

The students arrived at Ramstein campus on Monday morning with their parents. They were greeted enthusiastically by Hywel and Valentinio their key mentors for the year. All questions were answered as we all made our way onto the bus.

The journey lasted approximately one hour before arriving at the youth hostel. Dahn is a very picturesque area and it was so refreshing to be surrounded by the lush greenery of the forest. One of the most important aspects of this trip is ensuring we all work together as a team. This involves a succession of bonding activities between all learning partners, mentors and tour guides.

Upon arrival we were pleased to see that the company looking after us had planned a diverse range of fun activities. These covered a whole host of skills and developed both confidence and motivation to boot.
