Innovation at the “Betze” – BVMW annual Stakeholder meeting at the Kaiserslautern Football stadium

On Monday evening, around 100 members from Rheinland Palatine business community, BVMW met up for the third year running at the “Betze” stadium” – the home of one of Germany’s most famous football clubs “FCK”. The impressive backdrop of the Fritz Walter Stadium offered the perfect setting for BVMW members and guests were delighted to be-able to take an exclusive “Back stage” tour of the facility as a lead up to the meeting.

This year’s theme focused upon how to action successful innovation and members were given the opportunity of learning about three Best Practice examples presented by Timo Uebel (Architektbüro Uebel) – a fascinating glimpse into state-of-the-art architectural design, Marcus Ruebsam (CibusCell Technology GmbH) – the leading hydrogen energy expert and Alexander Weimer (CreaCheck GmbH) – social media marketing expert.

A panel of experts consisting of Yahya Yakisir, Thorsten Lang, David Flammann, Christian Schwab and Manuel Heid explained how one's own innovations can be generated and implemented.

Finally, the guest speakers Beate Kimmel, new Lord Mayor of Kaiserslautern, FCK legend Hans Peter Briegel and the chairman of the supervisory board of 1. FCK, Rainer Kessler provided a number of fascinating insights.
