Learning German speed dating style

Our Year Nine’s have been practicing their German oral communication skills with a set of questions about their own global identity. Each Learning Partner (student) on one side of a table had just one minute to ask the Learning Partner on the other side a set of questions about their home environment and culture, then everyone on the question side moved along one place.

This speed dating style activity provided plenty of opportunity to consolidate previously learned German vocabulary and phrases and was also very enjoyable and mind-opening considering our 20 different cultural backgrounds here at ISW!
