MAKING A DIFFERENCE, ONE BOOK AT A TIME

Huge shout out to one of our Year 8 students, Celeste!
What started as a Future Skills project last school year has blossomed into a meaningful book aimed at raising awareness and educating others about allergies.
With the guidance of her English teacher, Celeste took the lead on every step of the process—from writing the manuscript to the final design and publication.
Celeste’s inspiration came from a very personal place:
"The idea came to me because I often see kids, myself included, being excluded from things because of their allergies."
The best part? Celeste says she’s already seeing a massive shift in the food allergy culture around school. People are being more mindful, and things are becoming way more inclusive since she started this project.
📍 Check it out!
We have the book on display at the front office desk. If you’re passing by, stop in and take a look at what she’s accomplished!
Great job, Celeste! We’re so proud of the impact you’re making. 👏
