First in-house excursion at the isw maker space

Who says you need a bus for a field trip?
Today we held our first-ever "Incursion" in the Maker Space. Our lower secondary students spent the day diving into the world of automata—learning how these mechanical wonders work before building their own.
Using our in-house 3D printed models as a base, the kids got to tinker with fitting the parts together and design their own custom scenery and subjects to bring the machines to life. It was great to see a simple set of gears turn into unique moving ideas.
