Early Morning & After School Care
The Early Morning & After School Care of the International School Westpfalz offers you complete flexibility. We provide qualified childcare outside official school hours – from morning to evening. The Early Morning Care starts at 7.00 am and takes care of your child until the start of school at 8.00 am. The After School Care takes place directly after class finishes and ends daily at 5 pm. Separate registrations are necessary for both childcare services. A small charge is made for the Early Morning Care programme.
After School Activities
The After School Activities of the International School Westpfalz contribute to a balanced everyday school life and offer students a variety of opportunities to develop their creativity, learn new skills and engage in physical activity.
Our after-school programs start at the end of the school day and finish at 5 pm every day. Just to name a few of our activities: Art Club, Music Club and Yoga.
Our programs are fun, and enriching for the students as they interact with peers of different age groups in a supervised environment. Separate registration is required for the fee-based After Care program.

PARENTS & FRIENDS Events CoMMITTEE - MAKING OPPORTUNITIES HAPPEN
The Parents & Friends (P&F) Events Committee at the International School Westpfalz is an active and committed parents’ organization that exchanges information and meets on a regular basis. The main focus of the P&F Events Committee is to welcome new families to our school and the planning of various school activities to enrich the school life of their children and strengthen the school community.
School Lunch
A balanced and healthy diet is the basis for the optimal development of your child. That is why the International School Westpfalz relies on an experienced company, Kochwerk, which prepares the daily school meals mainly from fresh produce such as meat, fish, vegetables and fruit, using regional ingredients and foods wherever possible. Vegetarian and gluten free alternatives are also available daily.
Should allergens be part of the food served, they will be identified in advance in accordance with the German law (Deutsche Lebensmittelinformations-Verordnung (LMIV)).
Health Care
Whether with a band-aid, an ice pack or a few encouraging words – our certified first-aiders always lovingly care for the physical and mental wellbeing of their patients.
