Grades 5/6 in Exhibition mode

This very important final Exhibition is the culmination of all of our grades 5 & 6 knowledge, skills and strategies that they have used over the past few months or even years! This is the ISW learning cycle in action! The Exhibition is student-driven, where the Learning Partners unpick a larger theme (which for this year is “Sharing the Planet”), and try to develop their passions in an area in which they wish to explore further. First, students have to create their group’s central idea, next they identify questions linked to Key Concepts to drive their independent study and then finally they actually do the research. Parents of this grade attended a workshop to help them support their child through this process. In June, the LPs will need to share their work with the whole of the school community. Presentations can take a variety of forms but they must include a link to Music, Art and German.
