Year four sharing love and happiness for Valentines

For Valentine’s Day this year, our Year 4 class decided that instead of having a party, they opted to write letters to the residents of the neighboring “Wohnheim für Behinderte”- elderly people’s assisted home. Each child made two cards to give to the seniors with Valentine’s Day wishes for health and happiness

Despite being a non-native German group, our students wrote their cards in German so that we could work on our written German skills, and each child also carefully designed a beautiful picture for our older friends. “Wohnheim für Behinderte” was so happy to pass along our letters and spread some cheer to its residents.
