SHAPES OF ME
BY YEAR 4 STUDENTS
Who are we?
To answer that, we didn't just paint a picture—we built ourselves! We started with three large cardboard shapes to represent our different sides. Then, we used mixed media and lots of messy paint to show our unique personalities.
The most important part was the yarn. We wrapped and stitched it all over our shapes to show how our thoughts, our hobbies, and our families are all tangled up together to make us who we are. Every string you see is a different part of our story.
We are not just one thing; we are a beautiful, complicated weave of many things! We hope when you look at our shapes, you think about what "strings" make up the shape of you, too.
