ARTWORK | YOU AND I

BY YEAR 8 STUDENTS

The “You and I” art sculptures explores the fluid boundaries of identity through a series of modular, 3D-woven sculptures.

By utilizing interchangeable components—ranging from organic floral textures to industrial found objects—these works challenge the idea of a fixed self, suggesting instead that we are a collection of "pieces" influenced by those around us.

As these heads are dismantled and reconstructed in new configurations, they mirror the dynamic way our lives intersect within a community.

This exhibition serves as a visual metaphor for the social fabric: a reminder that while our individual threads are unique, our true complexity and strength emerge only when we are woven together.
